These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cleanbreak mobile application (the “App”), which is operated by Atlas Smart Technologies (“we”, “us”, “our”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App.

By downloading or using Cleanbreak, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

Cleanbreak is a Christian app designed to help individuals overcome pornography use through guidance, encouragement, and habit-building tools. Cleanbreak is not medical or therapeutic advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be 16 years or older to use the App. By using Cleanbreak, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Use of the App

You agree to use Cleanbreak only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms.

You must not:

  • misuse or interfere with the functioning of the App

  • attempt to access or reverse-engineer the App’s code

  • upload malicious software or attempt to breach security

  • use the App in any way that harms or disrupts others

We may restrict or terminate access to users who violate these Terms.

4. Accounts (If Introduced)

Some features may require creating an account in the future. If so:

  • you must provide accurate information

  • you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login details

  • we may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for long periods

5. In-App Purchases

Cleanbreak may offer optional paid features or subscriptions. All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store under their respective terms and refund policies.

We do not handle or store your payment information.

6. Push Notifications

By using the App, you may receive push notifications for reminders, encouragement, and functional updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, code, and materials within the App are owned by or licensed to us. Users may not:

  • copy

  • reproduce

  • modify

  • distribute

  • or create derivative works

without our permission.

8. External Links

The App may link to Christian resources or third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, practices, or availability.

9. No Professional Advice

Cleanbreak provides support and encouragement but does not:

  • diagnose mental health conditions

  • provide counselling or therapy

  • replace pastoral or medical care

If you experience distress, addiction, or mental health challenges, seek support from a qualified professional or trusted pastoral leader.

10. User Content (If Introduced)

If future features allow you to submit content (e.g., journal entries, notes):

  • you retain ownership of your content

  • you grant us a limited licence to store and display it within the App

  • you must not submit content that is harmful, illegal, or abusive

We may remove inappropriate or harmful content.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if:

  • you violate these Terms

  • you misuse the App

  • we discontinue the App’s operation

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Cleanbreak is provided “as is” and “as available”.

We do not guarantee that:

  • the App will always be available

  • the App will be error-free

  • the App will meet your expectations

  • data will not be lost

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and conditions, express or implied.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of the App

  • we are not responsible for the actions or outcomes of any user

  • your use of Cleanbreak is solely at your own risk

This includes (but is not limited to) loss of data, financial loss, emotional distress, or inability to access the App.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.
We will display the updated version within the App.
Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
